Certificates with a 47 day lifetime
The CA/Browser Forum Baseline Requirements limit how long a publicly trusted TLS certificate may last. A day there is 86400 seconds.
Until 15 March 2026 the cap was 398 days. Since 15 March 2026 it is 200 days. From 15 March 2027 it is 100 days. From 15 March 2029 it is 47 days.
This applies to certificates issued on or after that day. A certificate issued earlier keeps its existing expiry date.
